I sailed for 25 years...

I worked as a professional sailing instructor for a very long time after walking away from a career in journalism. I sailed the entire Eastern Seaboard of the East Coast. I'm a 100-ton licensed captain who has commanded vessels ranging from dinghies to cruise ships. I decided when I started doing commercial shipping that I liked sailing that much more and some day soon, I hope to start sailing the West Coast.
